Each synopsis contains a summary, details of the interaction under discussion, its probable mechanism, clinical importance and management. Individual interactions are assembled alphabetically into 23 chapters, grouped therapeutically, pharmacologically or individually. Both British and American drug names are used throughout the book. The CD-ROM also has additional indexing of terms and links, an intuitive search facility and a tailored thesaurus to allow selection of appropriate search terms, and is able to print and copy data and is updated annually.
